Since November 2000, the Michael N. Stassinopoulos – VIOHALCO (MSVF) Public Benefit Foundation has been offering computer courses to adults, in cooperation with teachers from certified schools. In recent years, we have partnered with the E-gnosi computer school.

In our times, learning how to use a computer is more imperative than ever. Computers now form an inextricable part of our daily life, work, home and school. Finding information on the Internet, remote working, remote learning, remote medicine, e-commerce and e-governance are only some of the pieces of the puzzle that make up the society of technology.

Our computer lessons are divided into two courses over the year, summer and spring. Attendance of each cycle is 50 hours, lasting around 3 months. The lessons are held twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays at 16.00 – 18.00. . The units taught are the following: Word, Excel, Internet, PowerPoint and basic knowledge of the operating system.

The lessons are held on the 1st floor of the Cultural Center. There is a specially arranged room there and equipment with state-of-the-art computers.

The interest in learning how to use a computer remains unwavering. The course is attended by adults and it is impressive that a large percentage of students are very keen seniors who would like to keep up to date during a time of continuous progress.

The computer lessons and all the required technical equipment are offered free of charge.

When students complete the course, and by decision of their teacher, they receive a certificate of attendance .
